Hina Khan BREAKS down while talking about her cancer journey; says, “You have no idea how big…”

Hina Khan is one of the most beloved faces of the TV industry. However, she left everyone shaken when she announced her cancer diagnosis last year, in 2024. Despite the worry and fear Hina always put up a brave front, handling her diagnosis and treatment with the utmost grace. However, at a recent event, Hina Khan could not hold back her tears and broke down while talking about her cancer journey.

On World Cancer Day 2025, Hina Khan attended the event organized by the Nargis Dutt Foundation. She opened up about challenges of battling cancer, sharing her experiences and raising awareness. The actress highlighted how timely diagnosis can save the person. Hina said, “Look, there’s nothing in the report—the doctor just made you take these tests for no reason. Aapko nhi andaza hai ki woh kitni badi Khushi hai ki aapke test mein kuch nhi aaya. (You have no idea how big is it when your tests are negative). Ask us how hard it is.” Hina broke down into tears during her speech as she recalled the stressful process of her cancer treatment. “I am so sorry. It is so hard to read those reports, visit a doctor after getting reports and getting a diagnosis. It is better to spend money on testing. It is not a waste of money”.

Hina Khan, who confirmed her cancer diagnosis in June 2024, has been sharing several motivational posts online during her healing journey. Meanwhile, on the work front, Hins was recently seen in Griha Laxmi. The show also featured Chunky Pandey, Rahul Dev, and Dibyendu Bhattacharya alongside her.
